I would like to thank all of my teachers for sharing with me their passion, their insights and their friendship. On this page, I will share more about each of them, to give you a better picture of my background and my community.
Paula Paglia introduced me to dressage when I was ten years old. She has been my teacher, mentor, cheerleader, kindred spirit and dear friend ever since. A USDF Gold Medalist, she runs a world-class training facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. To learn more about Paula, see www.paulapagliadressage.com.

I began learning Carolyn Resnick’s method in the fall of 2010. I was drawn to Carolyn upon seeing a picture of her dancing with a horse at liberty, while the horse performed piaffe, without tack or a driving aid (to see the picture, go to http://carolynresnick.hubpages.com/hub/Training-horse-at-liberty). As a young girl Carolyn spent time with wild horses, eventually being accepted into the herd, becoming the herd leader and being invited to ride the lead mare bridleless and bareback. Her unique and powerful perspective on horse behavior is based on these years spent studying wild horses, a lifetime of training horses for many disciplines, including dressage, and her genuine genius for horsemanship. She has an instructive blog that I highly recommend, at www.carolynresnickblog.com. I had the great pleasure and honor of studying with Carolyn in December, 2011.
